The government of Andhra Pradesh, as part of its major innovations, partnered with Adani Enterprises to develop a data center campus in Visakhapatnam. Described as India’s largest facility for AI operations, the data center campus is expected to bring AdaniConnex and Airtel as key collaborators.
The Andhra Pradesh government values this investment plan at around approximately $15 billion from Google, spanning 2026 to 2030. The project includes gigawatt-scale data center operations, a subsea cable network, and clean energy sources to support AI workloads.
With AI taking the center stage in every industry and pushing the technology forward. The new data center will expand compute capacity for AI applications in India.
With this new project coming into place, huge employment is expected to be generated in sectors like technology, construction, and clean energy.
