As expected ‘Adipurush’ is postponed to the summer of 2023. It looks like this is going to affect the other film line-ups he had. Especially on the most awaited ‘Salaar’ dualogy.
Post ‘Baahubali’, Prabhas couldn’t score a big hit. All the films he did were time taking but they couldn’t satisfy even his die-hard fans. With the announcement of ‘Salaar’, along with his fans, everyone was excited to see Prabhas with Prashanth Neel. Even the stills & posters were very much menacing on social media. With the postponement of ‘Adipurush’, ‘Salaar’ might get postponed too. Being made on a whopping budget, the film is a pan-Indian project which shall be dubbed & released in more languages than ‘K.G.F.’ For such humongous reach, the promotions & the visibility should be greater than what’s being done now and even Prabhas feels he needs 4 months of heavy promotions to take the film across the country.
As of now, the team considering looking for a new date. It was actually scheduled to hit the screens in September of 2023.
