With the Munugode byelection around the corner, the campaigning battle between the major political parties seems to be daily menacing. Especially on social media between KTR & Sanjay Bandi, calling out each other for the hypocritical & double standards of their governance.
Recently, KTR came up with the campaign of writing letters to Prime Minister Modi on decreasing/removing the 5% GST slab on the handloom textile industry. He encouraged many to write letters to Modi on this issue, and even Suddhala Ashok Teja, a reputed poet & lyricist, has joined the campaign too. But Sanjay Bandi had an immediate retort to it. He uploaded a video clip of KTR appealing central government to reduce the multiple slabs of tax on the handloom industry into one slab of 5%. When the government did pass the order, he immediately jumped back to it again to completely lift the GST on the industry. Sanjay immediately caught this & busted out KTR’s strategic campaign. There was no proper or official response to this from KTR & other campaigning handles.
The campaigning shall continue until this weekend. With the poll on November 3, the date of counting is November 6.
