Varun Dhawan starrer ‘Bhediya’ was released on 25 November. Directed by ‘Stree’ fame Amar Kaushik, the film also starred Kriti Sanon in the lead role. Although the film had a jump start, it looks like it couldn’t carry it for a long time. It collected ₹42 CR on Day 7, but that’s an underwhelming number.
Although ‘Bediya’ had good hype, it didn’t expect ‘Drishyam 2’ as a competitor for its release week. ‘Drishyam 2’ has been witnessing a roaring success and minting huge numbers, and this run has affected ‘Bhediya’ too. According to the reports, here is the day-by-day breakdown of the collection.

All the trade pundits stated that the film might end up collecting ₹70 CR – ₹80 CR in its lifetime run. ‘Bhediya’ is now aiming to join the ‘₹50 CR’ club, but with Ayushmann Khurrana’s An Action Hero releasing this Friday, Bhediya will have to fend off not one, but two rivals at the ticket counters.
