The ruling party of Andhra Pradesh, YSR Congress Party, is all set to hold ‘Visakha Gharjana’ on October 15, in support of decentralization. The joint action committee (JAC) for decentralization and three capitals announced that it would hold a protest and rally with more than 1000 members in the port city.
Meanwhile, Jana Sena party chief Pawan Kalyan took potshots at YCP and this rally through Twitter. This morning, Pawan made a series of tweets under the tag, ‘Deniki Gharjanalu? (What are these protests for?)’
He asked whether these protests are for roads that are not built or the tax that is collected even on garbage or for not giving CRP for employees or for not giving TA and DA for police officers.
He questioned if these protests are for making scenic Araku the hub of drug peddling or making AP the number one state in drug peddling.
He asked if these protests are for changing democracy to a caste-based society or for painting party colours on the buildings of schools and walls of temples.
Pawan raised a lot of questions by pointing out the failures of the YCP party and he asked why are they holding these protests now. We have to see how YCP leaders respond to Pawan’s statements.
