She is now coming up with Tamil-Telugu bilingual film Kanam (Oke Oka Jeevitham in Telugu). Directed by Sree Karthik, this film features Sharwanand in the lead role. This movie marks Amala’s comeback into the Tamil industry after 20 years and the Telugu industry after 10 years.
